January 19th continued

Tonight: Tonight was the welcome party event which was fun! It was themed "Ohana" so Lilo and Stitch were there. Mickey and Minnie were too in their cute Hawaiian outfits but I didn't get a picture with them. I went with Nicole and Cassie and it was a fun time! We ate pizza and danced out little hearts out for about an hour. And then we tried to figure out the busing system. We decided to get one the bus we knew was wrong to see if that would be good for us. We then decided to get off that bus and the bus driver sort of nodded like he knew we were on the wrong bus. It was pretty fun. (Pics)

So yeah... that's what has been happening! I met the girls who live downstairs, underneath us, and they are super sweet as well! We had 12 girls in the apartment earlier and it was a lot of fun to meet everyone, and I have met a LOT more people who live in Patterson and in Chatham.

I have traditions tomorrow morning which is where we learn a lot about Disney and get our ID's and things. I have to be up at 5:30am and downstairs at 6:15am. We are meeting a lot of the girls we met today who have the same one and Ashton does with me. :)
We are planning on going to Magic Kingdom tomorrow after Cassie and Nicole get done with their traditions around 4 or 6ish. Basically to see Wishes. And then Saturday Night we are going to the Polynesian Resort after we all get done with training to see Illuminations from Epcot. It's going to be a lot of fun!

January 19th, 2012.

So the last few days have been completely insane!

I got here on Sunday and went to Downtown Disney with my mom. We then went to Universal on Monday which was great and Harry Potter World was awesome!!!! Some pictures below: (comments continued after):

Tuesday: was spent apartment shopping and I met my roommates at Downtown Disney on Tuesday night. :) I technically met Nicole during the day but I met Ashton and Cassie later in the evening. I feel like we honestly bonded RIGHT away and I adore these girls to death. I know this is the "honeymoon" period right now but I really believe we will truly get along with one another.

Wednesday: was seriously an exhausting day. We got to the check-in place at Vista Way Apartments at 6am and we weren't even first in line for check-in to start at 9am. They ended up starting check-in at 7:50am which was awesome. We had to go through so much paperwork and then we got the housing. :) We wanted to be in Chatham Apartments but the only one left was an 8 girl one so we ended up getting the last apartment in Patterson Apartments. :) It turned out completely awesome! We are really close to the entrance which means close to the buses and the laundry building is actually right next to us which is amazing. So anyways, after housing and all of that, we had to go to Casting. Ashton and I actually ended up getting split up from Cassie and Nicole. It was such a long two hours and so much was told to us. We ended up meeting the girls who live next door to us and the guys who live across from us and they are great! We spent a lot of time unpacking and setting the apartment. Here are some pics from the day. :)

3 months

I reached the 3 month mark today until I check in!!!! It's been such a crazy and fast almost month since I found out I was accepted in the DCP and I hope the next 3 months continue to go by fast!!!

I can't wait to be down there!

Accepted

So I got accepted to the program last Thursday the 22nd of September at 9:43am. :)

I will be working in merchandise in one of the parks from January 18th-August 3rd!!!!!!

I am so excited!!!!
